JOB OPPORTUNITY - Supervisor
Norbury Wharf is currently recruiting for a Supervisor to join their existing team at the popular and busy location which offers: weekly boat hire, self-steer day boat hire, 42-seater passenger trip boat, boat painting, dry docking and blacking, boat repairs, long term and short term moorings, chandlery, Brokerage, gift shop, licensed tea room, off license and much more. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior management of the Company and will predominately be based in the boat yard office. They will be expected to oversee the day-to-day running of the business including: opening and closing of the business, discuss boat purchases with potential clients and guide them through the process, ordering stock, stock management, restocking of sale items, delegate to and management of clerical, cleaning and seasonal staff, take and manage bookings for all aspects of the Company’s business, process purchase invoices to be reviewed by the Company accountant and oversee online sales.
Exemplary cash handling skills and customer relations is essential.
This position is always customer facing and hands-on.
Experience within the Inland Boating industry is preferred but not essential as on the job training will be given in relation to all aspects of the business.
Weekend working is expected and must be computer literate.
This is a full-time position and is not seasonal.
First aid training will be given if a certificate is not already held.
Immediate start available for the right candidate.
Hours: 40 hours a week.
Holiday: 28 days holiday per annum.
Remuneration: Dependent on experience and will be discussed at interview stage.
